Kaiser Chiefs are the proud holders of one of Rock Werchter's finest records - the Brits are the only band ever to have been in the line-up four years in a row (2006-2007-2008-2009). And what’s more, they returned for another two performances after that. This is the second TW Classic for the kaisers of anthems like ‘Oh my God’, ‘Everyday I Love You Less And Less’, ‘I Predict A Riot’, ‘Ruby’, ‘Never Miss a Beat’… every last one a textbook example of indestructible British pop music, played with such an abundance of energy and enthusiasm that the five lads from Leeds quickly rose to become a crowd favourite. The band were rewarded with three Brit Awards and eight million records sold. Their unusual name comes from a South African football team, the Kaizer (with a 'z') Chiefs - the club where their all-time favourite Leeds United player, Lucas Radebe, began his career.
